Rene Marie Russo was an American film director, actor as well as a supermodel. Alongside her stunning beauty, her continued success in the film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's most popular female athletes. She began her professional career as an amateur fighter, and she participated in various regional promotions. In the following years she joined Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Her success in and out in the Octagon has made her an international brand after she joined the UFC. Namajunas' family is Lithuanian and she was born on the 29th of June in 1992. Rose participated in many activities as a kid like basketball, and kickboxing. She made her debut as a professional aged 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she won two matches by submission. Dana White, who was following her closely at the time, signed Rose in the UFC strawweight division in the month of December in 2014. Rose was just turning 22. Rose has experienced highs as well as she's also had lows in her professional career, but she always came in the end on the top. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15 of 2015 to win the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza via an technical knockout that took less than three minutes of Round One. Rose not only took home the title but she was also named Fighter Of The Night. Rose was also able to make MMA history by winning this fight as she became the first woman to compete to win the title of champion at an organization that is a major one. Namajunas continued to have many other victories, including 2 victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
