From 2007 to 2009 she played Nadine in The soap General Hospital. Since 2011, she is most well-known for her character as Adalind Schade on Grimm. Coffee is also known for her recurring roles as Cassie Tatum on the TV series The West Wing in 2003 as well as Janie Ross on the show Franklin and Bash from 2011 to 2012. She has also appeared on television in the series Franklin & Bash from 2011 to 2012. TV appearances include Yes, Dear, Cold Case, Strong Medicine, NCIS, Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains, The Good Guys, CSI: Miami, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains The Good Guys, and The Good Guys. Claire was married to musician Chris Thile from Nickel Creek in 2013.
